Celia has completed the four semesters of music studies in voice, choir and theory at Cabrillo College. Her eye is on San Jose State for a degree in music, but for now has taken on the challenge of homeschooling her 12 year old daughter, Phyllis. She is also mother and grandmother to a large and busy family of older children living from Oregon to Los Angeles. Finding Kindermusik to be her favorite music curriculum , she has completed all the training and certification, and has been building her program in the Santa Cruz area for the last four years.

"I find much joy in working with this curriculum because it not only develops the musicality in a child, but also works with the family to nurture that musicality. I really love seeing my parents involved. It works."

Celia looks forward to providing a strong Kindermusik program for younger children and providing a program for older elementary children of choir, voice training, and simple ensemble music, movement and dance, which would supplement what the child might be getting in school.
